Q. How long will my wedding video be?
A. That depends on the length of your ceremony and the type of reception that you have. Other factors effecting the final length include how much time we spend shooting pre-ceremony moments such as getting dressed, bridal portraits, wedding site details, etc. Unless your wedding and reception are very short, your video will probably be 1-2 hours in length.
Q. Do you include the entire ceremony? How about the reception?
A. Yes, as long as your venue (church or temple) allows cameras inside, we will give you the entire ceremony on your DVD. For your reception, we create a video that reflects all the highlight moments as well some dancing, and general celebration. We make sure that we capture all the details - from the flowers, to the guest sign-in book, to the table settings, to the food, and the beauty and emotion that surrounds your special day.
Q. When will we receive our DVD's?
A. Anderson Productions is a full time video production company - not a part-time weekend job. We will have your finished product in approximately 4 weeks or less. Delays may occur if clients are slow in getting their photos or music to us for inclusion.
Q. Do you shoot in high definition?
A. No, we choose to use extremely high-end Canon cameras with the highest quality ground glass lens. Hi-def would require a great deal of softening in the editing process to ensure that everyone wouldn’t be seeing "too much information" - such as wrinkles, perspiration, blemishes, uneven skin tones, etc. Just like Hollywood actresses that are unhappy about seeing such intense details when they are shot in Hi-def, we believe our brides would be unhappy too.
Q. How will you help me look my best?
A. The first thing we do is reassure you that if you choose Anderson Productions, you are choosing an award winning team of professionals. We film you in the most flattering natural light when available and at the most flattering angles. We allow you to move and interact as naturally as possible, asking little in the way of posing. We are unobtrusive - capturing your moments as they unfold, not as they are staged. Brides tell us that they barely knew we were there but marvel at the intimacy that we captured during their wedding. With Anderson Productions, you can feel confident, secure in our professionalism, and free to be just you - beautiful and radiant on your wedding day!
Q. How good is the audio quality?
A. Excellent. We eliminate echoes and muffled voices by using digital wireless microphones.
Q. Do you use special effects when editing?
A. Our approach is cinematic and may include film style effects such as slow- motion, certain filtrations, black & white and sepia tone. We do not use cartoon-like graphics.
Q. Can we choose our own music and add our own pictures?
A. Yes, please feel free lend us CD's with your own special songs. You may also add a number of your own photos based on the package you choose. All music borrowed and photos received will be returned to you.
Q. Would you include footage shot by one of the guests in our final video?
A. No, we only work with our own video footage. If the final video package wears our name, then it must be our work.
Q. May we have/buy the raw footage also?
A. No, we do not sell or distribute raw footage. Since we always shoot from multiple manned cameras, this can amount to anywhere from 4 - 20 hours of tape. We are careful to include everything you'd want to see in your finished video and take great pride in doing a thorough job for each and every event we shoot.
Q. Do you carry backup equipment in case of equipment failure?
A. Absolutely, we have multiples of everything.
Q. How much input do I have on the finished product?
A. We invite all brides and grooms to tell us exactly what they are looking for. Do you love edgy and contemporary or timeless and romantic? The choice is yours and we're happy to discuss your style and preferences.
Q. I want you to be our videographer. Can you hold the date for us?
A. We get many inquiries for most weekends. There is only one fair way to hold a date when multiple brides are shopping for the same weekend. The bride that signs a contract and pays the deposit first owns that date.
